Overview

Reporting to the Bet Tribe’s Head of Product, you will lead the UX and Digital Product Design functions across several digital products.

What you’ll do:

Your primary focus will be to create a vision for the products, developing a ‘north star’, before establishing a continuous process of refinement and evolution.
To realise your vision, you will establish design processes, methodologies and principles along with developing an engaging, creative culture and setting the bar for the output of the team.
Connect strategy and vision to the day-to-day by exciting and inspiring your team, stakeholders and peers.
Responsible for UX and Design Managers, you will define the Design Team structure and roles along with establishing development paths for direct reports and the wider team.
Identify and attract top talent to join the team, helping establish best recruitment practices with our internal recruiters.
Working with partners and stakeholders, you will build strong relationships to effect a real change in how products utilise design and UX methodologies and deliver innovative solutions to meet customer and business needs

How you’ll do it:

Understand and establish the team’s cultural values, modeling them through your behaviours and actions.
Apply learnings from previous positions and industry awareness to create an environment where great design can happen.
Working with UX and Design Managers, you will look to build a methodological toolkit ensuring its adoption by the team and wider stakeholders.
Use your excellent people skills and ability to manage managers to achieve the best from direct reports and the wider team.
Using your experience, persuasive communication skills and natural charisma to act as the Tribe’s design voice inside and outside the company – selling the vision and being an advocate for the team.
Utilise your experience in leading teams to frame and solve complex problems.
Display a passion for experimenting with new processes and ways of working to drive innovation that uncovers new value and experiences.
Work closely with external partners such as Sky Sports to contribute to the visual language and experience principles of the Tribe’s product offerings.
